My name is Rich. Thank you so much for stumbling across my humble little blog. Honestly? It was intended as a bit of a diary for me to look back on when I’m older. An emotional and memorial game of find the house keys where I retrace my steps finding little things everywhere I turn but never the keys. Does that make any sense? Sounded a lot better in my head than it did in writing.
Thank you for arriving here, you are very welcome to stay for a while!
This is me:
This photo is taken in my Dad’s wonderful garden in the middle of sunny old England. It’s also where I live and where I base myself out of for all of my adventures.
I am 31 years old and engaged to a wonderful lady with an incredible step son. During my days I work as a Maintenance Engineer, but by night… I run!… I say run. I’m slow by most accounts, with my average Marathon times being around the 4:46 mark.
The goal is to run all 6 of the World Marathon Majors (only 1 TO GO in April 2019). Once that’s accomplished, get to 50 Marathons. Eventually the holy grail will be to reach 100 Marathons. We’ll see if my knees hold out with that one….
Luckily for me I am very well supported by all of the people in my life and most don’t mind that I spend many of my weekends and holidays jogging.
